Dr. Sarah K. Katz is the owner of our practice and a trusted, experienced dentist who brings decades of clinical excellence, advanced training, and genuine compassion to every patient she serves. With more than 30 years in dentistry, Dr. Katz combines deep expertise with a lifelong passion for learning—delivering modern, comprehensive care that is both precise and personal.
Dr. Katz’s love for dentistry began early and has only grown stronger with time. She graduated from dental school in 1994 and has been devoted to patient care ever since. Raised in West Lafayette, Indiana on the campus of Purdue University, she was surrounded by education and curiosity from a young age. She later moved to Rhode Island for high school and college, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Rhode Island.
A formative influence in her life was her father, a professor at URI, who often reminded her: “If you love what you do, you never have to work a day in your life.” That philosophy continues to guide Dr. Katz’s approach to dentistry today.
Dr. Katz graduated valedictorian from Rutgers Dental School (formerly the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey), earning numerous academic awards. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency (GPR) at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey, where she gained advanced clinical experience treating complex cases and medically compromised patients.
Her commitment to excellence did not stop after formal training. Dr. Katz is a lifelong learner, completing hundreds of hours of continuing education every year to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
